Resident Physician

Residents are primarily responsible for providing exemplary clinical care to patients, completing all necessary charting and documentation, and adhering to the curriculum goals for various hospital and outpatient rotations. They must also communicate effectively within the healthcare system and provide teaching to junior staff as assigned.

Candidates must comply with all training requirements set by the accreditation council for graduate medical education (Acgme) and follow all state and federal guidelines applicable to physicians. A key requirement involves annual completion of world health organization hand hygiene education related to infection control.
