Job description
- Residents will be responsible for compliance with their training under the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
- Job duties include, but are not limited to: Training as physician.
- Provide exemplary clinical care of patients, complete charting and documentation, follow rules of ACGME, State and Federal Guidelines for physicians.
- Rotates in various areas of the hospital and outpatient clinics performing duties as prescribed in their contracts and in the curriculum goals and objectives for each rotation.
- See patients, provide care, correspondence and follow up.
- Residents will work within the health care system, communicating effectively with staff, nurses and other providers.
- Provides teaching to junior residents and medical students as assigned and appropriate.
- Annual completion of World Health Organization hand hygiene education and training and its relationship to infection control in addition to physical demonstration and understanding of compliance monitoring.
