About the role

This position supports the teaching team by assisting in the orderly operation of the classroom to foster an appropriate social-emotional environment for children. The role may require reassignment to different classrooms or centers based on program operational needs.

Position Summary

This position works as part of a teaching team to assist in the orderly functioning of the classroom to provide an appropriate social-emotional environment in order to expand the child's ability to learn and grow. Position may involve the reassignment to various classrooms/centers as deemed necessary for program operations.

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED, and must meet specific educational requirements such as holding a CDA credential or equivalent early childhood education certification/enrollment. Applicants must also obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications shortly after hiring and pass required health and criminal background screenings.
