  • School-Based Behavior Technician Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Look no further! We are a dedicated team providing effective, empirically validated educational and behavioral services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • We offer 1:1 support in both school and home settings. We're expanding in the Los Angeles area and need you to help us grow our team!

What You’ll Do- not limited to the following

Provide 1:1 support to a student throughout the school day to help them participate in classroom and school activities. Build positive rapport with the student and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and supervisors. Assist with academic tasks and data collection as directed. Implement behavior intervention strategies and calmly redirect challenging behaviors using training provided (e.g., Safety Care/ supervisor guidance). Maintain professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

Qualifications We're Looking For: Associate’s degree / 2 years of college (required) Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred) Valid driver's license with insurance (required) Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong desire to make a difference(required) Ability to work with diverse ages and behaviors, including aggressive and self-injurious tendencies(required) Previous experience using ABA methodologies in a school setting (preferred) Experience: Minimum 1 year in applied behavior analysis (preferred) License/Certification: RBT (preferred) Pre-Screen Application Question(s): Are you fully vaccinated against COVID-19?
