Nursing Student II, 5W Teaching and Innovation Unit, Per Diem (Days/Evenings/Nights)

This role involves performing various delegated patient care interventions, collecting and recording patient data, and assisting professional nursing staff with routine patient needs under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsibilities also include ensuring patient comfort, safety, and timely communication of condition changes to the rn.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and either specialized medical training or be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program having completed 'fundamentals of nursing' and at least one semester of skills lab. A minimum of one year of recent experience as a cna or completion of one semester of nursing skills lab/Simulation is required, along with current cpr/Bls certifications.
