Athletic Academic Advisor II

The athletic academic advisor ii recruits and advises undergraduate students regarding their career goals and academic requirements, providing guidance on course selection, registration, and goal-Setting based on established advising tenets and theories. Responsibilities also include monitoring academic progress, implementing intervention strategies for at-Risk students, and coordinating advising projects and outreach events.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field along with two years of related experience in advising and recruiting. Required abilities include proficiency in standard office software, knowledge of student information systems, strong multitasking and cooperation skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
