- The Position: We are seeking coaches for our new Karate Zoo enrichment program.
- Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nation's largest multi-sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year.
- Our newest program, Karate Zoo, is leading the way in preschool martial arts.
- New Coaches can work *3-6 classes a week, earn 18$per hr, and can earn up to 40$per hr (based on experience and growth in company) Our programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids by teaching them martial arts!
- Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and we create a stress-free environment.
- Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success.
- And finally, our coaches have a blast.
- They are open-minded and know that coaching Karate is a continuous journey.
- All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by following the Karate Zoo Coaching Manual & Curriculum No martial arts experience is not needed but an added bonus.
- A good attitude, a love of working with children, and a willingness to learn are key qualities we are looking for in a strong candidate.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience working with children (professional or volunteer) is preferred, particularly in a coaching or teaching capacity.
- A love for sports and martial arts, with a desire to inspire young kids.
- Availability to work flexible hours, primarily afternoons (3-5pm).
- Reliable transportation to travel to various locations.
- Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive way.
- Clean background check is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
