Special Education Teacher

The teacher will provide small group and one-On-One instruction in core academic areas and communicate student progress to parents, staff, and administration through progress reports and individual education plans (Ieps). Responsibilities also include maintaining compliance with idea, implementing accommodations, differentiating instruction, and creating behavior or transition plans as needed.

Candidates must possess a valid teaching certificate from the state of michigan with a special education endorsement and must clear the ichat background check. Applicants are also required to hold appropriate automobile insurance coverage for driving a personal vehicle for work purposes.
