Special Education Paraprofessional | 2026-27 School Year

This role involves assisting in the delivery of special education services, supporting instruction for assigned students, and ensuring students remain on task while implementing iep goals across academics, social-Emotional areas, and related services. Responsibilities also include providing necessary medical and life skills care, such as feeding and toileting, as required by a student's health plan or iep.

Candidates should preferably have previous experience working with students who have cognitive needs and health plans, ideally within an urban, open admissions school setting, demonstrating a deep commitment to at-Risk students. Essential qualities include strong collaboration and communication abilities, a belief in every student's potential, and a willingness to learn and evolve, including using ai as a work tool.
