Summary of the Position

  • Behavior Consultant (BC) and Mobile Therapist (MT) candidate holding a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work. This is a hands-on position providing therapeutic services to children, youth , and families.
  • Provide direct therapy and counseling: Engage participants and families to offer personalized support and guidance
  • Develop and implement treatment plans: Create and execute tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual and family.
  • Champion YAP's Philosophy, Mission, and Core Principles.: Embrace and advocate for Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.'s mission, philosophy, and core principles in all aspects of your work.
  • Services are provided in home, community, and school settings.
  • Opportunity for Licensed Supervision may be available.

Availability

Flexible hours; up to 40 hours per week.

Position offers competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursements.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Strong clinical skills and training or course work in Behavioral Modification with one year of experience
  • License needed (LSW, LCSW, LPS, or LBSC) to work with children on the Autism Spectrum. (Licensed compensated at a higher rate)
  • Experience in providing therapeutic services to youth and families
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and families
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.
