Autism Day Program Assistant (PRN - Flexible Hours)

The assistant will support children aged 2-6 with varying functioning levels across the autism spectrum to achieve greater independence and school readiness through individualized care, learning, and play in a 1:3 ratio. Responsibilities include collaborating with therapists to meet developmental goals, maintaining a safe environment, assisting with daily needs like feeding and toileting, and promoting communication and social-Emotional development.

A two-Year degree in human services or education is preferred, along with experience working with children with special healthcare needs. Candidates must pass extensive background checks, a physical examination, and be able to lift up to 35 lbs while maintaining a calm demeanor in a demanding environment.
