Sign Language Interpreter

The interpreter will collaborate with teachers to deliver individualized services and support to small groups of students, monitoring behavior, tracking progress, and communicating with parents. Key duties include translating spoken language into american sign language (Asl) and vice versa to facilitate communication for deaf, hard-Of-Hearing, and hearing individuals.

A high school diploma is required, though college experience or a bachelor's degree is highly preferred for this role. Candidates must be able to translate spoken language into asl and vice versa in an educational setting, with experience working with special needs students being preferred.
