Early Head Start Teacher

The early head start teacher is responsible for encouraging the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of head start children while ensuring their safety and welfare. This role also requires promoting family engagement in all program aspects and adhering to federal head start performance standards and agency policies.

Candidates must possess an associate of arts in early childhood development or a child development associate (Cda) credential. A minimum of six months of experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare setting is also required.
