Peer Educator- ISA

Peer educators provide academic assistance through tutoring or supplemental instruction in identified courses, focusing on guiding student participation and providing effective learning strategies. Responsibilities also include participating in professional development, maintaining a welcoming environment, and assisting coordinators with program outreach and recruitment activities.

Applicants must be current stanislaus state students, either undergraduate enrolled in a minimum of six units or post-Baccalaureate in a graduate program enrolled in a minimum of four units, with an overall gpa of 3.0 or higher. Candidates must also demonstrate content competency in assigned courses, typically with a grade of 'b' or better, and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
