Mental Health Specialist

The specialist provides training, technical assistance, and direct mental health support for children aged 0-5, families, and staff, focusing on promoting positive interactions and coordinating individualized strategies for behavioral changes. This role involves implementing an inter-Disciplinary system for early identification and treatment of social-Emotional difficulties through counseling, play therapy, and classroom support.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, along with a relevant mental health license or certification. A minimum of one to three years of experience serving inner-City children and low-Income, culturally diverse families is required.
