Student Nurse - Inquiry to Practice

Selected candidates will be hired into a patient care nursing assistant (Pcna) role, working a minimum of 24 hours every 6-Week schedule while pursuing rn education. Upon graduation and licensure, the employee will be promoted to a medical-Surgical registered nurse.

Applicants must be enrolled in the registered nurse program at lakeland community college or kent state university-Ashtabula and have completed the foundation/Fundamental clinical rotation prior to starting. A high school diploma or ged is required, and prior direct patient care experience is preferred.
