Selected candidates will be hired into a Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCNA) role, working a minimum of 24 hours every 6-week schedule while pursuing RN education. Upon graduation and licensure, the employee will be promoted to a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse.
Applicants must be enrolled in the Registered Nurse program at Lakeland Community College or Kent State University-Ashtabula and have completed the foundation/fundamental clinical rotation prior to starting. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and prior direct patient care experience is preferred.
