  • Overview: The Social Emotional Supports (SES) Family Engagement Specialist (FES) provides direct support to families in Palm Beach County through needs assessments, individualized service planning, referral coordination, and ongoing progress monitoring. The FES collaborates closely with SES Coaches and the SES Clinical Supervisor to develop individualized service plans for each client and ensure that all recommended referrals are completed and followed up on appropriately.
  • Here's what the job involves: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff at assigned daycare centers through consistent communication and support. Conduct screenings and assessments to identify risk factors, strengths, and client needs, and recommend appropriate services. Engage families and serve as a liaison between program participants and community partners to ensure successful service connections. Provide referrals and coordinate linkages for families needing additional parenting education or support services. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including data entry, reports, and program records to ensure compliance and program integrity. Participate in trainings, outreach efforts, and team meetings while maintaining flexibility to meet with families during evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor’s in a related field with 1 year of experience. At least 1 year of experience in a childcare or similar setting required. Bilingual English/Creole required. Valid Florida’s driver’s license is required.
