Core responsibilities
The associate teacher will provide care and education for children aged 0-5, ensuring a positive learning experience while collaborating with supervisors and teachers to implement developmentally appropriate activities. Responsibilities also include assuming teacher duties in their absence and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess 12 semester units in ece/Cd with a grade c or better, or a cda credential/Ctc, along with 6 months of related experience working with children aged 0-5 and holding an associate teacher permit or higher. Additional criteria apply for hs/Ehs/Mshs/State-Braided associate teachers, potentially requiring an associate or bachelor's degree or enrollment in a qualifying program.
