Core responsibilities

Coordinators will plan and implement eight weeks of daytime summer activities focused on healthy minds/Bodies, problem-Solving, arts, and reading for youth in low-Income housing, incorporating youth interests into daily plans and leading weekly field trips. This role requires high levels of teamwork, creativity, and regular communication with team members, supervisors, caregivers, and community members.

Requirements summary

Applicants must be at least 17 years old, a us citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien to serve as an americorps member, possess excitement for youth work, and commit to the full service term from june 1st to august 10th, 2026. Preferred qualifications include previous youth work experience, awareness of social equity issues, a driver's license, and willingness to drive youth.
