After-School Program Counselor (Highland Springs/Airport Area)

Counselors will deliver program lesson plans meeting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of elementary-Age children through engaging activities. Key duties include ensuring child safety, providing homework assistance, and serving as a positive role model.

Candidates must meet the requirements of a program leader as detailed in virginia regulations, which includes a degree in a child-Related field, an early childhood certificate, and six months of programmatic experience with children. Experience in areas like music, arts, science, or literacy is preferred.
