College Access Initiative Academic Outreach Specialist

The academic outreach specialist supports college readiness, recruitment, and retention efforts by designing and facilitating workshops for high school students, educators, and supporters regarding college planning, admissions, and financial aid literacy. This role also involves professional mentoring, academic coaching for current ua students, and supporting campus cultural programming.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience in areas like college access outreach, advocacy, mentoring, or academic retention programming, including experience facilitating programs for 7th-12th grade students. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and professional experience in college access outreach and academic retention programming.
