Behavioral Health Technician

Behavioral health technicians provide one-On-One interventions to children or adolescents in home, school, or community settings to prevent the need for more restrictive treatment or educational placements. This involves implementing prescribed behavior modification treatment plans and modeling intervention techniques for team members and caregivers to promote age-Appropriate behavior.

The minimum requirement is a high school diploma or ged and reliable transportation, with preferred qualifications including rbt training, prior experience as a tss/Bht, and coursework in mental health or child development. Candidates with 2 years of experience or bcaba/Bcat certification are also preferred.
