Veterinary Technician Student Externship/Preceptorship Program - Paumanok Veterinary Hospital

As a veterinary technician intern/Extern, you will assist with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments while working alongside veterinarians and support staff. You will also be involved in administering medications, monitoring anesthesia, conducting laboratory tests, and educating pet owners.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program and possess a strong passion for animal care. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with basic knowledge of animal handling and medical terminology.
