This role involves developing education to support evidence-Based nursing interventions within the perinatal specialty, applying specialized knowledge across patient care, nursing practice, and organizational systems. The educator partners with leadership to evaluate nursing practice, provides clinical expertise to interdisciplinary teams, and creates education for nursing staff in their specialty area.

Requirements summary

Required education includes a master of science in nursing with a post-Graduate nursing certificate in nursing education, or equivalent combination, along with an active oregon rn license and basic life support certification. Candidates must have six years of clinical nursing experience in the specialty area and three years in a unit-Based educator or similar role.
