Job description

Frontier STEM High School is currently seeking a qualified School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year. Starting salary is $55,750 per year for RN and $47,500 for LPN, commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred). Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

Responsibilities

Provide direct healthcare services to students, including first aid, administering medications, and managing chronic health conditions. Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed. Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, in collaboration with parents/guardians and healthcare providers. Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
