[2026-2027] ELA Teacher - Middle School

Teachers are responsible for instructing students using a rigorous college preparatory curriculum aligned with school and new york state standards, while also committing to continuous professional and personal growth as part of a teaching team. Duties include using data to inform decisions, constantly assessing student progress, communicating results to stakeholders, and providing targeted instruction to students needing extra support.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and strong interpersonal skills that foster a collegial environment, valuing traits like zest, grit, and humor. While new york state teacher certification and at least two years of teaching experience are strongly preferred, a passion for mission-Driven teamwork and demonstrated success in raising student achievement are essential.
