26-27 Middle School Social Studies Teacher

The middle school social studies teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for 6th-8th grade students to foster their academic potential in line with the network's mission. Detailed duties include developing standards-Aligned lesson plans, creating an engaging classroom environment, assessing progress, and executing school-Wide duties.

Candidates must possess a b.a./B.s. Degree and 1-2 years of classroom experience, preferably in urban education, along with a valid pennsylvania instructional certificate. Essential qualifications include demonstrated skill in working with diverse student populations and a commitment to continuous professional refinement.
