Special Education Teacher- St. Pius X Catholic School

The teacher is responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans according to the curriculum, assessing student learning styles, and using appropriate instructional strategies to educate students in a christ-Centered environment. They must also uphold the philosophy and mission of the catholic school and adhere to all policies set by the school and the archdiocese of san antonio.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and either 12 credit hours in education courses or a valid state certificate according to texas catholic conference education department standards. Candidates must demonstrate competency in the assigned subject area, possess technology proficiency, and pass archdiocesan safe environment requirements and background screening.
