Special education preschool teacher

The teacher will implement individualized education programs tailored to each child's needs, supervise classroom staff including teaching assistants and aides, and conduct initial assessments to establish realistic long and short-Term goals. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate logs, communicating weekly with parents, and developing daily plans based on individual student needs.

Applicants must possess at least a bachelor's degree and a valid new york state teacher certificate in special education, with an expectation to pursue professional certification promptly. Candidates should demonstrate successful experience working with disabled children beyond required student teaching.
