Founding School Nurse

The founding school nurse will establish and manage a comprehensive school health program adhering to rhode island guidelines and excel academy policies. Key duties involve collaborating with professionals to assess and evaluate health activities and developing individualized health care plans for students using the nursing process.

Candidates must hold a bsn or rn with a bachelor’s degree and must obtain or already possess ride certification for the role. A minimum of one year of experience in public health, community health, school health, or pediatric nursing is required, with school nursing experience being preferred.
