Follow YUSA established lesson plans, understand stroke progression & implement the Core Values into lesson plans Manage, schedule, and conduct swim meets Communicate with families on a regular basis about program information and child’s progression in swimming Markets swim team program within the community Complete swim assessments, evaluations, and certificates of completion Identify incorrect swimming techniques and provide correction Adjust teaching techniques according to swimmer’s needs Maintain tracking of class attendance. Ensure participants are released to caretakers Provides exceptional customer service and fosters connections with members Participating and satisfactory completion of in-service trainings Create an environment that is welcoming, nurturing, and inclusive for all members and guests Able to work collaboratively and respectfully as part of a staff team Ensure building, grounds, and equipment are in working order. Report any concerns Maintain certifications and take advantage of professional growth opportunities Support the annual campaign process including education of members Understand your role as a mandated reporter of elder and child abuse.
