Independence Coach

The coach sets individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on a path to learn skills for independent living, employment, and community engagement by creating service plans and resource maps. Essential duties include teaching technology use, facilitating goal milestones like independent travel, building social networks, and connecting individuals with necessary support services.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 21 years old, holding a valid tennessee driver's license with an f endorsement and maintaining required auto insurance. Required abilities include being an experienced technology user, demonstrating excellent organizational skills, and possessing effective verbal and written communication skills.
