Part-time Faculty, Special Education

Part-Time faculty will teach assigned special education courses, supporting teacher candidates in developing evidence-Based instructional practices for students with disabilities and providing timely feedback on assignments. Responsibilities also include ensuring coursework aligns with state standards and credential program expectations while maintaining communication with students.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in education, special education, or a related field, along with a valid california special education teaching credential or an equivalent out-Of-State credential eligible for california licensure, including authorizations for autism and clad. A minimum of three years of tk-12 teaching experience, preferably with students with disabilities, is required, along with knowledge of udl and ca mtss.
