Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting regular basketball practices
- Teach and develop fundamental basketball skills, including shooting, passing, defense, and game strategies
- Prepare students for games, scrimmages, and competitions
- Models’ sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials,
- and spectators.
- Assist with coordinating game-day activities, including warm-ups, player rotations, and bench management
- Supervise students during practices, games, and team travel
- Promote teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and school pride among team member
- Maintain communication with students, families, and school staff
- Ensure adherence to school policies, athletic regulations, and safety guidelines
- Assist with organizing equipment, uniforms, and practice/game schedules
- Support tryouts and assist with team selection, as applicable
- Other duties as assigned Knowledge Of:

- Experience working with student-athletes in an educational setting is desirable Work Environment: Work is performed in a school setting, including gymnasiums, basketball courts, and athletic facilities. The position requires after-school hours, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for games and tournaments. Physical Requirements:
