This role involves providing patient care according to hospital standards, which includes interviewing patients and accurately measuring and recording vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height. The EMT will also assist providers with assigned patients and handle administrative tasks like inventory and submitting supply orders.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a Certified or Registered EMT certification. A minimum of two years of related experience is preferred, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
