The instructor is responsible for delivering quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/Or laboratory settings based on the approved course outline, ensuring students achieve competency in course objectives. This includes assessing student learning, motivating students, advising on grades and attendance, and managing the classroom environment in compliance with policies.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess current, unencumbered michigan licensure as a registered nurse (Rn) and required experience in obstetrics, such as labor and delivery or as a nurse practitioner caring for childbearing mothers. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing science (Bsn) is required, or active pursuit of a bsn is acceptable under specific conditions.
