Direct Support Professional - Community Adult Program

The direct support professional supervises and trains participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities on life skills, goal setting, and daily routines, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment both on-Site and in the community. This role involves assisting with basic living skills, implementing individualized plans, documenting incidents, and coordinating with team members and families to support client growth.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles. While one year of coaching/Teaching experience with adults with disabilities is a plus, it is not required, emphasizing strong communication, patience, and the physical ability to assist participants.
