Teachers are responsible for ensuring all scholars master necessary academic and social skills by setting ambitious achievement goals and holding scholars accountable. This involves planning and delivering rigorous instruction, assessing for mastery, tracking progress, and intervening as necessary to support scholar success.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher with appropriate endorsements, or hold a valid state teacher license or be enrolled in a credentialing program. Effective pedagogical skills driven by standards and data-Driven assessment, along with a passion for working with students in underserved communities, are required.
