Upper School Theology Teacher (7-12th grades)

The theology teacher is responsible for planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process for 7th-12th grade students to foster a deep understanding of the catholic faith and love of christ. Essential duties include supporting the catholic education philosophy, planning sequenced instruction based on the adopted curriculum, using effective instructional methods, and maintaining accurate student records.

Applicants must be practicing roman catholics who exemplify catholic doctrine consistent with the magisterium, holding a master’s or doctorate degree in theology from an accredited catholic university. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a catholic setting, is preferred, along with compliance with all diocese of austin eim policies.
