Core responsibilities
Behavior specialists focus on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by developing person-Centered plans, including functional behavior assessments and behavior support plans. Implementation involves weekly sessions to work on behavioral goals and providing consultation and training to the individual's support system.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in aba, social work, special education, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or another applied health service area of psychology or counseling. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the us, maintain a properly insured vehicle, be physically capable of administering cpr, and provide proof of a negative tb screening.
