Pharmacy Technician Apprentice - Inpatient

The apprentice will be responsible for preparing medications, including selection, labeling, compounding (Both sterile and non-Sterile), and delivering them to appropriate storage locations. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate inventories, ensuring a clean work area, documenting regulatory requirements, and actively participating in team meetings.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or ged, successful completion of the cleveland clinic school of pharmacy technology program within 12 months of hire, and immediate registration as a pharmacy technician trainee with the ohio board of pharmacy. Candidates must also obtain cpht certification within one year of hire and possess basic computer skills and the ability to perform necessary algebraic calculations.
