Teaching Assistant - Van Buren

The teaching assistant will support classroom teachers by engaging children in curriculum implementation, playground activities, and addressing direct childcare needs such as feeding and diapering. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean, safe learning environment and assisting in the implementation of treatment plans developed by healthcare professionals.

Candidates must be willing to work with developmentally at-Risk children and possess the ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and adapt their approach based on a child's needs. A high school diploma or ged is the minimum requirement, though one year of professional experience working with children is preferred.
