High School Teacher (26-27)

Educators are responsible for delivering exceptional instruction, developing year-Long, standards-Based unit and lesson plans, and using assessment data to modify plans to promote student academic performance. They must also provide academic and cultural support, collaborate with teams, and establish trusting relationships with students and families.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and demonstrate knowledge of the core subject area assigned. A valid texas teacher certificate appropriate for the level and subject area is required for certain positions, and all candidates must meet nclb highly-Qualified guidelines if applicable.
