Cheerleading Advisor

The cheerleading advisor is responsible for organizing, developing, and implementing the college cheerleading program, which includes planning practices, conducting preseason activities, and supervising the squad at designated home athletic events. This role also involves fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, school spirit, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for student-Athletes.

A high school diploma is required, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with some cheerleading coaching experience. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, effective organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to pass required background checks including act 153 clearances and a motor vehicle record check.
