Elective Teacher (26-27)

Educators are responsible for delivering exceptional instruction and assessing student growth by developing year-Long, standards-Based unit and lesson plans tailored to meet all students’ learning needs. They must also embrace feedback, collaborate with teams, establish trusting relationships with students and families, and participate in daily school functions.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and demonstrated knowledge of the core subject area, along with the appropriate texas teacher certificate if applicable. Essential competencies include an unwavering commitment to the mission, a strong record of academic success with underserved students, and a willingness to commit to an extended school schedule.
