Certified Special Education Teacher (26-27)

Core responsibilities include providing necessary modifications and accommodations as stated on student ieps, writing ieps with performance data, and facilitating ard meetings for caseload students. Educators must also instructionally plan and teach in deficit areas while supporting general education teachers with classroom services.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and hold the appropriate texas teacher certificate for the assignment, especially for special education positions. Applicants must also demonstrate knowledge of the core subject area and be considered highly-Qualified based on nclb guidelines, if applicable.
