Nursing Student Internship | Avera Heart Hospital

This 10-Week, full-Time, paid summer internship allows nursing students to expand their clinical skills by working in partnership with a designated registered nurse preceptor. The program provides students with the opportunity to learn directly from experienced health care workers in a hospital setting.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited rn program (Associate or bachelor degree) and must have already participated in an academic clinical experience. Candidates must also be within one or two semesters of their graduation date (Winter 2026 or spring 2027) and possess current bls certification upon hire.
