Physical Activity Specialist I, II, III or IV

The specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and organizing physical activity and health promotion programs tailored for individuals, groups, and community needs. This role involves traveling within the community to teach and facilitate various physical fitness activities.

Educational requirements vary significantly by level, ranging from a one-Year certification or related experience for specialist i up to a master's degree for specialist iv, with increasing experience requirements up to five years for the highest level. All levels require proficiency in basic computer software, a valid driver's license, and cpr certification within 90 days of hire.
