Parent Support - Garden City

The parent support specialist will provide education, support, and training to families of children receiving community based services, enabling them to make informed choices regarding their children's mental health treatment and education. They will enhance services by encouraging families to gain broad knowledge and engage in networking with other parents and mental health providers.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in the last three years. A crucial requirement is self-Identifying as a person with lived experience raising a child with serious emotional disturbance (Sed), sud, or co-Occurring mental health diagnosis.
