Childwatch Group Leader

The childwatch group leader is responsible for providing care and engaging children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in various programs while upholding the ymca's core character principles. Essential functions include supervising children, ensuring their safety, meeting their physical and emotional needs, maintaining a clean environment, and accurately recording attendance.

Candidates must be able to successfully supervise groups of young children and must pass a criminal background check to obtain authorization to work with children under georgia department of labor and ymca guidelines. A high school diploma or ged is required, though six months of related experience or training can substitute for some education.
