Teacher - ESE IRR (2026-2027 SY), Tussahaw Elementary

The exceptional student education teacher is responsible for planning and delivering lesson plans, developing and monitoring individual education programs (Ieps), and collaborating with general education teachers to maximize student achievement. The role also involves maintaining communication with parents and ensuring compliance with special education policies and procedures.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a valid georgia educator certificate and demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with students, parents, and staff. The position requires physical presence at the worksite and the ability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
